Article X – Delivery and Shipping
X.1
Orders will be shipped as soon as possible after receipt of payment, but no later than 30 days after the order date, unless otherwise stated on the website or in the product description (for example, pre-orders, sale items, or made-to-order products).
X.2
The expected delivery time in the Netherlands and Belgium is generally:
- 1–3 working days (letterbox parcels / standard packages)
- 2–5 working days (heavier packages / islands / border regions)
These timeframes are indicative only. Exceeding the indicative delivery time does not entitle the customer to any compensation for damages, unless there is intent or gross negligence on our part.

Shipping costs to Belgium, Germany, and other EU countries will be displayed during the checkout process and may differ from the rates for the Netherlands.

The risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer at the moment the order is handed over by us to the carrier (PostNL, DPD, DHL, etc.).
We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier, unless there is gross negligence on our part.
X.6
If a package is returned to us as “undelivered” because the customer was not home and took no action with the carrier (e.g., did not collect it from the pickup point within the specified period), we will charge €4.95 in administration/return fees. This amount will be deducted from any outstanding credit balance or invoiced separately with a new order.
X.7
In the event of visible damage to the packaging upon delivery, the customer must immediately notify the delivery driver and take a photo. The customer must then also report this to us within 24 hours via [retour@whatyouthinkhappens.com].
Article Y – Right of Withdrawal & Returns
Y.1
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reasons within 14 days after receipt of the order (or the last partial delivery) (right of withdrawal).
Y.2 Return Conditions for Clothing & Shoes
The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition (including all original labels, tags, protective strips, protective bags, etc.).
Trying on is permitted, but the item must not have been worn outside of trying on (e.g., street dirt, makeup stains, odors, pet hair, cigarette smell, etc.).
Returns with visible signs of use, missing labels, or damaged packaging may be refused or only partially refunded (a minimum value reduction of 30-50%).
Y.3 Return Shipping Costs
The costs for returning the items are borne by the consumer (unless we explicitly state that returns are free).
Average return costs in 2026: €4.25 – €7.50 (depending on the carrier and size).
Y.4
We will refund the full purchase amount (including the original shipping costs to you) as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal notification – provided that we have already received the product or conclusive proof of shipment has been provided.
Y.5 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal (mandatory to state)
The right of withdrawal is excluded for:
Custom-made items (e.g., clothing with name, printing, adjusted length, engraving).
Sealed items that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and whose seal has been broken after delivery (underwear, swimwear, socks, cosmetics, piercing jewelry, etc.).
